Year 5 visited Sparks Department store, which recently replaced Marks and Spencer in town. The aim of the store is to sell sustainable products, as well as acting as a station to reduce, reuse and recycle! We had a tour of the store and learnt about sustainable practices. The children then engaged in a workshop, where they recycled electrical goods. They tested them to see if they were able to re sell, changing laptop memory cards and also took apart electrical goods to recycle. Lots of fun, alongside learning, was had!
