Palm Sunday Service

We began Holy Week celebrations in school with the Chaplaincy Team providing a Palm Sunday service. All children made palm leaves to wave for Jesus.

Passover Meal 

Father Richard and the Chaplaincy Team led a wonderful Passover service for the whole of St Nicholas. We all had a plate of food items which each represented a different item that Jesus ate with his Desiples. He taught his them that the wine and the bread at the meal signified that he would become the sacrificial lamb by which sins are forgiven and reconciliation with God can occur.

Stations of the Cross

Friday we finished the week with Stations of the Cross. The children were put into groups and travelled around the school visiting each station, which had been made in classes. This was a reflective morning, followed by Fr Richard helping us to understand the final two stations.
