World Book Day Celebrations were a great success!  We saw some fantastic costumes- from Amari (Amari And The Night Brothers) to every type of superhero and princess!  Year 1 and 2 enjoyed meeting the author Alexa Brown and making some fantastic animal artwork with her. Every class also read the locally made book 'If Racism Vanished For A Day' and produced some incredible writing and artwork in response to it.  Thank you as well to all the parents who donated or bought books at the used book fair after school; it was such a hit that we are planning to repeat the book sale in the coming weeks (with books at 10p, 20p and 50p).
