Where charity and love are, God is there

School Council

School Council is made up of two children from each class from year 2 upwards. The children are elected by their peers at the start of the year.

As well as representing their peers, the school council organise fundraisers for the school and charities.  They also model respect for our school environment by ensuring that the school library is kept neat and tidy.

Meetings

School Council meets once every term.  The minutes of our meetings are recorded and a copy of our last minutes is pasted on the notice board in the corridor.

Every class also has a class council to discuss issues and will put forward two issues to the school council, if they are relevant to the whole school.

Following the school council meeting, the Chair and Secretary meet with the Headteacher to discuss issues and create action plans and council representatives report back to their class.
