At St Nicholas Prayer is important because it helps us to stay close to God. When we pray, we are opening up our hearts to Him and He is able to work in us and through us. Prayer also helps us to grow in our relationship with God. 

We value our time for Prayer and Reflection here at St Nicholas, we encourage everyone to take a moment in thier own way, or within their own religion to have a moment of calm and reflection. 

Our school prayer is at the heart of our school and is used daily when we come together as a family, it was written by the children to represent the Catholic Ethos of the school.

We use prayer at lunchtime and hometime, to take time to be thankful for what we have received during the day and all that we have acheived.
