Year 4 News

In science today, we made string telephones to find out how sound travels. They worked! But it took us a while to realise the vibrations can only travel properly if the string is pulled tight.

Undercover CareTakers Agency

A mysterious box arrived in Year 3 and Year 4 this week... Each class spent a day being 'Undercover CareTakers,' completing missions from inside the box to collect 'buttons' and light up a beacon. Our activities included teambuilding, mindfulness, UcaTok dancing and creating top secret gifts to say thank you to important people in the school.

Muller Museum Trip

As part of our Significant Bristolians term across the whole school, Year 4 have been studying George Muller, who founded many orphanages. We walked to the Muller Museum in Ashley Down to discover more about his life and what it would have been like to be a child living at the orphanage from the Victorian times up until the 1950s.
