Engineering Workshop

In January, we took part in a workshop run by UWE using Minecraft to redesign Bristol! Ideas included a better public transport system and more housing.

Old Vic Workshop

We loved taking part in this workshop run by the Bristol Old Vic!

Artist of the Term - Hokusai

As part of our geography topic on mountains, we are exploring the work of 19th century artist, Hokusai. We loved his series on Mount Fiji. Each group studied a different painting of his, all set in different seasons.

Movema Dance workshop

As part of a partnership with Trinity Arts Centre, Year 4 were lucky enough to take part in a 6 week dance course with Movema. We absolutely loved learning about dance from around the world.

Christmas 2022

We worked with Preludes, our amazing music teachers, to compose a class Christmas song. It was inspired by an old Basque melody with our own lyrics.

Spilt Ink Theatre

This was a very special achievement for some of Year 4. In a year-long project, a group of children worked with Spilt Ink Theatre group to create a show that was performed at the Trinity Centre. Rather than being in the production, the children shared their ideas which were then put into this wonderful and poignant play about refugees. The fabrics were designed by our very own Fabi!
