Year 3 Trip to the MShed

On Tuesday Year 3 went on a school trip to the MShed! We were collected by Laurence the bus driver who took us on a mini tour of Bristol to see Clifton Suspension Bridge. We then arrived at the MShed for a workshop all about the Saxons in Bristol. We explored different artefacts, clothing and we even became Saxon Kings for the day! 

After our exciting workshop and spot of lunch, we met back up with Laurence who took us to Bristol Temple Meads to read all about the designer Isambard Kingdom Brunel, which our engineering STEAM day will be based on! It was a great day out seeing the sights of Bristol and learning what Bristol would have been like a long time ago!
