Year 5 Science Creates
Year 5 visited 'Science Creates' for a workshop about DNA Extraction led by Bristol University students. The children had the chance to show off their knowledge about DNA and learn some new facts before extracting their own DNA from a kiwi. They were able to predict, test and record their findings. Following this, they had a tour of the laboratories in the building and asked some amazing questions to real scientists. The children had a fantastic time with lots of learning, they certainly looked the part in their lab coats!
