Feast of Annunciation
The Feast of the Annunciation is celebrated annually on the 25th of March. It is intended to mark the occasion where the archangel Gabriel visited Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ, and told her that she would be giving birth to God's son.
We can turn to Mary, our mother, whenever we need help making difficult decisions or if we are scared to say yes to God. She loves us very much, and she is always praying that we will have the courage to listen to and obey her son.
Year 4 led the Mass service for the Feast Day at Church. This was the first time they had led Mass. They did a wonderful job, we could see future Chaplains within the class.
We pray for Pope Francis, Bishop Declan and all our parish leaders.
Lord in your mercy,
We pray that we are able to bring the love of Jesus to everyone, so they know they are loved.
Lord in your mercy,
We pray for peace in countries affected by war, we pray for God’s love and protection for the people of Ukraine and elsewhere and an end to all wars.
Lord in your mercy,
We pray for all mothers having babies, may they know the blessing of the Lord.
Lord in your mercy,
