On Monday, the girls football team had their first matches. They were unlucky in the first match, losing 1-0 despite having lots of shots on target. They fought hard to keep the second match at 0-0. In the final match they unfortunately went 1-0 down, but in the last minutes Cherry scored a lovely tap-in, and Alaya worked her way through all the defenders to win the match 2-1.  They showed lots of improvement and gained more confidence as the matches went on. Well done to all the girls who played.
