Where charity and love are, God is there

Catholic Social Teaching

Term 1 - Care for God's Creation 🌍

This term we have been thinking about how we can care for our school. We went litter picking and created posters to explain the importance of putting rubbish in the bin.

We were also given a tour of our school allotment and the Year 3 children who attend gardening club told us all about the fruit and vegetables they are growing.

Term 2 - Call to family, community and participation 💗

This term we have been thinking about how we can share Jesus' message and how we can help others. We worked as a class to collect items to make shoe boxes to give to charity.

Term 3 - Life and dignity of the human person 🫂

This term we have been thinking about how we can help children like us. As a class we sorted the spare uniform in our school so when children join they have uniform to wear just like us. We also donated any old clothes we didn't need to charity.

Term 4 - Option for the poor and vulnerable👴

This term we created our own board games to donate to Miss Berrymoore's nans care home so they can enjoy playing games together.
