Term 1 - Which significant Bristolians have helped children in Bristol?

In History we will be learning all about the Victorians.

In Science Year 2 will be exploring habitats and Year 3 will be exploring foreces and magnets. 

In DT we will be designing, making and evaluating our own bug hotels, linking to Year 2's science lessons. 

In Computing we will be looking at online safety.

In PE we will be learning new skills in tennis.

In PSHE we will be thinking about families and relationships.

 

Term 2 - How do people and nature live together in Bristol and the UK?

In Geography we will be learning all about the UK, continents and oceans. 

In Science Year 2 are exploring microhabitats and Year 3 are exploring lights and shadows.

In DT we will be designing and making tray bakes to sell at the school fair. This links with our Catholic Social teaching too!

In Computing we will be looking at information technology around us.

In PE we have been learning all about cricket and orienteering.

 

Term 3 - Why are rocks so special?

In History we will be learning all about the Stone Age.

In Science Year 2 are exploring everyday materials and Year 3 are exploring rocks and soil.

In Art we will be exploring sculpture and will use clay to make Stone Age pots.

In Computing we will be looking at robot algorithms.

In PSHE we will be learning all about economic wellbeing. 

In PE we will be learning new skills in gymnastics and hockey.

We will also be continuing our music and French lessons every Thursday!
