Well done Year 6! You really impressed the staff at Kilve Court with your excellent behaviour. It was great to see you enjoying each other's company, working together in teams and helping one another in the problem solving activities.
Year 6 showed their maturity by helping the Reception children. They greeted them into our school community by giving them their school ties to wear for the very first time.
Year 6 also spoke about the excitement and challenges they have experienced during big life changes. They did very well and should feel very proud of their assembly.
Isambard Kingdom Brunel was an influential engineer. His many buildings and structures made him famous in Bristol. Year 6 studied some of his most important creations and then made their own bridges. Using a limited amount of resources, they were challenged with the task of making sturdy structures. Amazingly, all their bridges passed the test!
