Welcome back to Term 4!

This term, we will be continuing to learn about life in Uganda in Geography, exploring the topic 'Animals- Including Humans' in Science and reading two fantastic books:  'Anna Hibiscus' and 'Lila & The Secret Rain'.  Please see below for our topic web which gives more detail.

Mrs Rosolek-Field and Mr Wood

On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning, Year 2 will be taught by Mrs Rosolek-Field and on Wednesday afternoon, Thursday and Friday, Year 2 will be taught by Mr Wood. 

PE days are Tuesday and Thursday in Year 2. 

Reading books need to be read daily and signed by a parent and these can be changed in school on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday. 

We will communicate with you through class dojo and leave messages for parents on the app. Please message up if you need any help or have any questions.

Please remember to read with your child at least five times per week.  This can be recorded in their home learning diaries.

You might also like to help your child practise their spellings or their times tables.  Spellings will be sent home weekly.  In year 2, children will be learning their 2, 5 and 10 times tables- including division facts.
