We LOVE learning all about our world in our Geography lessons each week!
Here are a few things we have learnt so far, maybe you would like to find out more about these places at home!
We have enjoyed learning all about the 7 continents in the world. These are Asia, Africa, North and South America, Antarctica, Europe and Australia!
Here are some fun facts we have learnt:
- Asia is the biggest continent
- Miss Phipps used to live in Australia where it is very hot
- We live in Europe
- The Antarctica is freezing cold!!

Each month we have a 'Country of the Month'.
So far we have learnt about:
- Jamaica
- Italy
- Poland
- Peru
- Nigera
We link our country of the month where our friends and family are from! We learn about the culture, language, climate and even the food - YUM!

The children in Diamond class showed interest in learning about the different oceans we have in our world!
We worked together and found out that there were 5 oceans. These are:
- Atlantic Ocean
- Indian Ocean
- Arctic Ocean
- Southern Ocean
- Pacific Ocean
