Every week we are very lucky to have Preludes take our music lessons. We learn how to play and read music using lots of different instruments. We also learn lots of key vocabulary such as allegro (fast), largo (slow), forte (loud) and piano (quiet). In Term 3 we learnt how to play the violin! It was fun to learn how to hold it properly and to hear the different sounds it can make.

Diamond Class loved the workshop with the Old Vic Theatre group! We learnt all about what drama is and worked in groups to act out different kinds of animals. We were farm animals, bees and sea creatures too! Our children were amazing actors and have asked to do more acting in class.

🌼 Gardening (CST) 🌼

In Diamond Class we love to look after God's world! We have been busy tidying up our garden area to get it ready to grow some beautiful flowers to welcome back the bees and butterflies this spring/ summer. We have been working together to create a space which is clean and ready for our flowers to grow. Some of the children have asked if we can grow peas again this year and to have a sun flower competition!
