Religious Education
Religious Education is at the heart of life in St Nicholas, shaping who we are and how we live together as a community of faith. It helps our pupils grow in their knowledge and love of God while learning to live out the Gospel values of compassion, respect, and hope in their daily lives. Guided by the belief that “Where charity and love are, God is there,” we encourage our children to recognise Christ in one another and to respond with kindness and service. Our RE curriculum follows Day by Day, which implements the New RED Curriculum (Religious Education Directory), ensuring high-quality teaching that is rooted in Scripture, Catholic tradition, and the teachings of the Church. Through meaningful lessons, prayer, and reflection, we support every child on their journey of faith, helping them to understand their unique place in God’s world.
