As we are nearing the end of Year 6 we have lots of events coming up. To ensure that you are aware of everything that is happening, I have put together a list of dates and times below. I hope that you are able to attend as many as possible and help to celebrate the time your children have spent with us.

If you would like to know any more details then please don’t hesitate to ask any of the Year 6 team.

Many thanks,

Tom Stack

Memories

How do you want to be remembered?

This term all of our learning is based on memories. Due to us nearing the end of our time at St. Nicholas of Tolentine, we will be thinking back and looking at how others have looked back over time.

English

In English we will be reading lots of amazing books as always. We will be reading 'Tales from Outer Suburbia' by Shaun Tan, 'Skellig' by David Almond and 'Window' by Jeannie Baker among others. These books will be the basis for loads of fantastic writing and allow us to practise our comprehension skills.

Maths

In Maths we will be covering everything we have learnt in our time at St. Nicholas and ensuring we are using the best methods possible.
